About Jukka Heinovirta
I'm a street photographer on a mission to find beauty in everyday life.
Got my first camera when I was seven. Been passionate ever since.
There’s always a story in my photos. It’s not necessarily ‘War and peace’ or ‘Doctor Zhivago’ but the story is always there when you look at the photos closely.
My style is quite minimalistic. I’m not trying to fill my photos with details or capture just the correct light. The story is always the most important thing.
My photos have been published in covers of books and records, in adverts and other digital and printed media. My street photographs have been rewarded and exhibited in Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Italy.
